Everyone is also anxiously awaiting a number of Blizzard games including - Starcraft II Expansion , Star Wars - The Old Rebublic MMO and Diablo III

In other news, everyone that is part of the AAF should register ASAP on our Forums, as we use that for communication in most games. We use a Ventrilo server, so once you are registered, and a member, you may use for gaming purposes. Our PHP SITE is also up and running, go check it out. All the latest news will be posted on our PHP site or Forums from now on, and we're still working on keeping up to date. Hardly have time considering all the games we are playing ;P

erry Christmas and Happy New Year everybody! As you can see, I'm slowly putting our pages back together. Babs is kicking ass with our new forums and just updated our WOW Character Roster database with a new version. Be sure to update your toons!
I hope everybody has their Burning Crusade copy pre-ordered; the new wave of ten million pansy elves named Legolas is nearly upon us!
Festivus for the rest of us! --Mithril (aka Beaf)

g! Just a brief update for today: if you haven't already done so, please visit our UBER NEW FORUMS that Babs has tirelessly worked on. They are part of the new site that we're working on (and will hopefully be finished before the end of the year ;) ). I have changed the Public Forums link on the left to point everyone to the new location.
You might also want to check out our new Character Roster database as well. Instructions for uploading your character are in the WoW forum.

eaping lepergnomes, things are about to get busy! First off, I'd like to welcome our new friends in Onslaught and Blades of Vengeance! Our first run together in ZG went amazingly well, and we're looking forward to kicking more ass together in the coming days as we set up a regular raid and pvp schedule. Stay tuned to the forum for more details, and be sure to brush up on your innuendo skills if you want to keep pace with the rest of the raid chat ;P. Oh yeah, you might want to register on Blades of Vengeance's site as well for Teamspeak access.
Second, we're giving Readyhosting a nice big FU for their shoddy service, and will have ourselves a shiny new host before the year is out. Some site redesign may be in order as well, if DW and Babs can agree on what shade of Fuchsia they like best. Special thanks goes to Babs for researching the best host for us; a winner is you! :D

In other news, it looks like Readyhosting has made our forum walk the plank for good, so Babs has set up a free version. It's a little slower, but at least we can gripe amongst ourselves again and comment on the chances of Rawk's bald spot evolving into a sentient being.
Arrr, load the Canon, wench, and collate me copies! --Mithril (aka Beaf)

hat's right kids, Readyhosting has once again broken our forums. We're trying to get them fixed asap but the room full of monkeys at the Readyhosting offices are too busy writing Shakespeare's next play to help customers that have been with them for years.
I hope you all are rested, as summer is almost over. The WoW expansion and Warhammer Online beta will be here before you know it! Be sure to sign up for the WAR newsletter for a chance to be a beta tester. I'm sure Fileplanet will have a subscriber-only beta deal as well (they're having one for Warhammer: Mark of Chaos by the way; it looks like a Warhammer RTS on a Rome: Total War scale!)
I'm wearing no pants; news at 11. --Mithril (aka Beaf)

his might be first and last time I've update the news page. Anyways first of all I want to honor our friends at the Circle of Fire (aka Norse Pride Alliance for you old school DAoCers) in the Relations page. I also want to honor Lebac for taking the helm as Co-GM of AAF DAoC and also became one of the first AAFs to complete all of his Champion levels. I do want to congrat the AAF and it's members for not only hitting 7 million but also about to be 5 years in DAoC.
Now onto the WoW division. We have desided to use the summer to relax before deciding our main course of action in WoW. We still play on Blackhand just relaxing until something good comes up again. We also still play on Surumar on Sundays. So get involved in that if you haven't.
There is also talks of TF 2 being added in the Half Life 2 Episode 2 game and yes if you haven't log onto the AAF boards there is talks of Warhammer online. I am scouting out information on that.
Remember focus on your objective and it will go down! --Darkwing

ell folks, the AAF has once again outlived another friendly guild. I'm sad to say that Revolution has officially disbanded. It was a pleasure and an honor to run with them, and we wish them well in all future endeavors. I have added them to our Relations page, a great honor, considering they're the first in many years to be added.
We'll be taking it easy from now on until the expansion is released. We've proven that we can raid with the best of them, and are better than most, in my humble opinion ~8) Don't forget that we're having Surumar Sundays, where we play Alliance alts on the Surumar server. Avoid rolling a Noobelf, if you can :P
Chalk this up as another lesson in quality over quantity. --Mithril (aka Beaf)

azorgore is dead! It only took us one night of practice to kick his ass! Amazing job everyone!
I don't think Vael is going to last very long at this rate! :) --Mithril (aka Beaf)

appy Easter everyone! May your baskets overflow with jelly beans and attacks by rabid bunnies be kept to a minimum!
Things have been pretty quiet lately, what with Rags and Ony being easy farming material. Stay tuned though, as we're going to start taking some serious shots at Razorgore this week!
In other news, physics cards are set to hit store shelves this month (or next month, depending on location.) Of the many new games under development, Warhammer Online will be the first MMO to use them!
Hold on to your butts, a new era of gaming is about to begin! --Mithril (aka Beaf)

O
nyxia is dead! Dead dead dead! With only 33 people and on the first try, the AAF and Revolution kicked ass and chewed bubble gum in style. Fantastic job everybody!
We're also stepping up our raiding schedule. We're going to hit a raid instance every night of the week, with the possible exception of Saturdays, so quit your grinnin' and drop your linen, and be sure to be in-game by 6:45 server time! --Mithril (aka Beaf)

All hail High Warlord Crystalcat! With a grace and dignity hitherto unheard of, she has wraught unsurpassed slaughter amongst the Alliance, and has bowed the knee of every Horde PvP monkey, realizing her as their better in all things! Congrats CC, we've never been more proud! ~8)
Continuing these joyous occasions is our newly formed raiding alliance with Revolution. On our very first night with them in Molten Core we massacred everything up to Majordomo, and then finished him off the next day. Very soon now, Ragnaros himself will be snuffed out!
It is of utmost importance that all members study the raid requirements and info posted in our forum. Be sure to stay tuned to both our and Revolution's forums, as well as in-game announcements, to stay up to date on additional raiding dates.
This month is sure to be a blast; Phat loots and slappy-times await us! --Mithril (aka Beaf)

Happy new year everyone! I'm happy to say 2006 has already started to see an influx of new members. To help keep our raid planning organized, we are using a very special calendar mod that is used in-game. Anyone who wishes to participate in 20+ man raids needs to download it pronto. Never fear though, it's quite small and merely needs to be put into your WoW/Interface/Addons folder to work. Once you have it, contact an officer for the calendar channel name and password.
You can find the download link in the WoW forum --Mithril (aka Beaf)

A new year is upon us, soon to be our ninth! And with it we welcome new members and allies with open arms, whilst leaving new enemies broken and battered in our wake. Our thanks to the fine people in Horde Elite for all the good times =)
This new year will bear witness to the start of our new recruiting drive. We are opening our doors wider than ever to accept new and honorable members to join our close-knit family in the World of Warcraft. Copious amounts of Powerful Mojo and troll sweat await those worthy enough to join us!
HOOOWAAAAHH HORDE! --Mithril (aka Beaf)

The AAF has left the raiding alliance HAWC, headed by the little Ikemans in Hordeland Security. We are not so desperate to grind in Molten Core that we will submit to baldfaced insults, abuse, and theft. As our charter indicates, we shall not compromise our ideals because of intimidation. We have not survived these eight years by genuflecting to tyrants.
With the help of new recruits and our pals in Horde Elite, we will continue to dominate Zul'Gurub, and will lay waste to Ahn'Qiraj that will open with the WoW 1.9 patch.
Further details can be found in Darkwing's post on our forum here. --Mithril (aka Beaf)

Hello all guildies! I thought I should at least update the main page a bit until Lord Duron returns from an extended vacation. The year has gone by quickly and looks like some changes are going to happen soon. World of Warcraft will be the next online guild game, and the game looks like extreme solid FUN. Beta testing was very entertaining and I know that most of you will enjoy it immensely. DAoC is also still continuing with Kran taking leadership for anyone staying on. Stay tuned for other guild games, or even some retro nights with older games. Keep checking the forums for any latest info on the games being played. --Babylonian

Sometime soon we will canvas any and all members to help support the web pages for our guild. I'm sure we will have no problem finding funding, just check the forums for any updated info for now. Thanks all! --Babylonian
